Purpose

ForestRs maintain Marshall School Park as a nature-focused learning space for Marshall Elementary students and their parents. Here, students can learn how to prepare fertile soil, grow vegetable and flowers, or simply sit and enjoy the plant-life.

Amenities

Four Raised Vegetable Planters

These planter boxes are cultivated by Marshall volunteers and open for Marshall Elementary’s community members.

Picnic Table Seating Area

We have two picnic tables positioned in the center of the Park for community members to relax in the garden space.

Path Through the Park

A freshly laid, rock-lined path winds through the park, allowing visitors and volunteers an easy avenue of access to the plants.

Marshall School Park’s Origin

We are honored to be in partnership with the Castro Valley Unified School District and have the opportunity to refresh a garden space for one of the elementary schools nurturing our community.
