Please bring your very own gloves, masks, and any eye covering or safety glasses you would like to wear. We will have extras of these for you, if needed. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of the acceptance of entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to and on my behalf, waive and release Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) and all persons and agencies connected with the Clean-Up from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in and travel to and from the event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I attest that I am physically able to participate in this Clean-Up. By signing below, I hereby grant consent and authorize the use and reproduction of any and all video and photographs taken or media produced in connection with CVSan’s Earth Day Clean-Up, or anyone authorized by CVSan to the use of electronic footage and images for education and recycling promotional purposes, without further compensation to me or anyone I am signing on behalf of or their representatives. All electronic footage and images together with the prints shall constitute the property of CVSan, solely, and completely. I acknowledge that an optional $5.00 donation will be made on my behalf by CVSan to a charity group that I may select from a list upon registration at a clean-up site on April 22, 2023, and completion of volunteer hours on April 22, 2023.
